We want to collect the minimum possible amount of personal information - the less we collect, the less we have to worry about storing securely. We would collect none at all, except for the fact that the website wouldn't work properly without it.
We don't sell information to anyone (we're just not interested in that sort of thing) and we have no use for it ourselves, so why bother?
